The SIA Writing Challenge is where you can challenge yourself to meet your writing goals while encouraging others to do the same. You can read how to get started below or just login now and get going on your own.
How To Use Writing Challenge Tools
The SIA Writing Challenge website lets you create Writing Projects to establish and track your goals. Writing Updates are how you enter in your progress. And, you can give encouragement to others (and they to you) via those same Updates. The tools are basic and intuitive to use, with little complication. Below are some tips to get you going.
Create A Writing Project
In your Member Dashboard, go to the Dashboard tab and use the form to create your Project. Add a Title, a short summary, your word goal, and the start date.

Update Your Progress
Once your Writing Project is created, use the Updates tab to add your word counts. You can see your updates there, and see everyone’s updates on the Community page.

Send Encouragement
We’re all in this together and if you want to help someone to keep going, a little encouragement goes a long way. A quick emoji or a supportive note can really make a difference.
