The beginning keeps dragging out, so I tried writing brief descriptions of how I wanted them to actually get to actually doing stuff instead of just meeting more people and talking more about the world. Hopefully this will kick the story back into gear and get it progressing again instead of stagnating like it's been doing lately.

I've been slacking, so I'm getting back into it.

Got in another quick session today.

Got in a quick few words before the toddler woke up just in case I don't have time to write more tonight.

Trying to make up for several low-word-count days in a row.

Had to get in one more quick session to push me over the 10k mark!

Slow day here, but I wanted to make sure I got something down.

Actually wrote around 2088 words today, but I had deleted a lot yesterday when I realized the scene wasn't heading the right direction. But I made some awesome progress and stuff's starting to happen!

Had a long day, so not much written, but no more excuses! Something is better than nothing.

Enough excuses; I'm GOING to write every day. This book is going to get finished this year no matter what, so I'd better start the year off right and get some writing in, even if it's not very much.
