managed to fit in another session after some very boring but necessary ad-admin

β€œAwesome!” – rockybader
Rachael wrote 850 words in 30 min on the march project

busy day but a quick morning write - words first! - and then I will hopefully return to it later...

β€œWell done :O)” – Anne Lown
Rachael wrote 827 words in 30 min on the march project

only a quick one today, but I'm in the very last stages - maybe another 2/3k to go and this will be done!

β€œGreat job! That's a lot of words in 30 minutes” – WriteObsession
Rachael wrote 1,205 words in 45 min on the march project

I only sat down to write 500, so I'll definitely take that as a win!

β€œThat's a big win. Well done.” – Craig
β€œOh yeah, that's a win! Great job!” – MelissaCook
Rachael wrote 584 words in 20 min on the march project

another tick-my-minimum-word-count day. (But I remind myself that 500 words a day would still = 182,500 words a year.)

Rachael wrote 706 words in 45 min on the march project

release day for a book here, so wanted to at least get my bare minimum of 500 done - and I've done that, so that will do for today.

β€œBest of luck.” – Adele Sims
β€œYou did more then you planned. Take your win!” – wlarson
Rachael wrote 241 words in 10 min on The May Project

I won't be starting this until I finish off the last one, but the first page came to me in a flash so I thought I'd get it down on paper...

β€œ"May you get a good start on a novel"? :)” – wlarson
Created a project: The May Project
Rachael wrote 1,600 words in 60 min on the march project

β€œCongrats!” – Twellsbrown
β€œThat's an amazing chunk!” – rockybader
Rachael wrote 1,918 words in 60 min on the march project

I have a book out on Friday and I really wanted to get this tied up by then (also because I have A Plan (tm) for May, but it's like the magic porridge pot and it keeps on going. I think realistically it'll probably be Sunday when I'm done. I wish I still had the brain to do 10k days but I am increasingly ancient...

β€œThose 10k days might not be possible anymore, but thats a speedy word count and a good chunk of progress. You're another step closer!” – TaliaWrites
β€œThat was what just happened with me...Mine kept on going. You will get there and it will be worth the extra effort!” – wlarson
Rachael wrote 500 words in 15 min on the march project

super quick 500 to stick to my daily minimum rule on a busy day

β€œThat's a good rule:)” – Craig
β€œGreat rule! I'm trying to make that my rule as well! Ideally 500 words in the morning and 500 at night, but even 500 in a day adds up quickly!” – rockybader
Rachael wrote 1,459 words in 45 min on the march project

launch week for a book so will be v strict on words first this week or admin will take over!

Rachael wrote 1,000 words in 180 min on the march project

One of those days where I realised I needed to go back and fix something and cut a load of extraneous stuff, meaning that the net word count has barely moved. But! I am determined that I’m going to get this done and dusted in time to start a new project for May.

Rachael wrote 1,300 words in 45 min on the march project

couple of tricky days but a good catch up today (and a word count today that doesn't include another 1.5k of writing which wasn't for this project, so we will call that a win)

unscheduled day off yesterday = no words but lots of time to think about them, and now I'm on the downhill but I feel like there's a lot of plot in my head, still waiting for me to do something with it...

β€œYou're doing great :O)” – Anne Lown
Rachael wrote 1,746 words in 90 min on the march project

quite a lot of time spent trying to work out what is happening in the third act

β€œTime well spent :O)” – Anne Lown

I wonder when I will learn that WORDS FIRST is the answer. Signed, a person who forgot and did admin first. Again.
