I really hoped for a better turn out, but I got some words in which is part of my mad plan to write a book, and better than getting no words in. My research rabbit holes today included Irish slang and how to read redacted text on a typewritten sheet of paper from 1973.
Missed writing yesterday. Today's session was okay, but each word felt like I had to pull it out of hiding.
These are words written on 11/6/25 and 11/7/25 - no words written on the fifth, it was a rough day.
My rabbit holes from these writing sessions included ley lines, grey aliens and cow mutilations, and UFO sightings in Missouri in 1973
Some words are better than no words. Today was so exhausting, so I'm giving myself some grace.
I really thought I had written more words than that today. I did get lost in research about Italian sports cars, 1950s era cocktail dresses, and vampire lore though, so I guess for my allotted writing time today I did pretty well!
Todays words - flowed fairly smoothly, but I got bogged down in cryptid research for a bit. A fun, but very distracting, rabbit hole
Feeling good about these words, I fell into the flow but unfortunately time got cut short.
Also, these are yesterday's words (Nov 1st) :)
