Tidying up yesterday's rush to cross the 50K line - still some scenes to write, but I can take my time!
And I'm done! Well, I've reached the 50K anyway - there's till some novel to write! 11th consecutive year of 'winning' whatever we call writing in November. Craig, I told you I'd do it in November, so thanks for already giving me the pin at SPS!
Nearly there!
Building up to dramatic climax (I underwrite - it'll get longer when I edit)
One mystery solved, two big dramatic things still to cover!
Still plenty of time to hit my target, and I've solved one of my plot issues, so I'm happy about that!
I really need to start pulling the various threads of this together and heading toward the climax - and the bigger climax that follows it (this is a clean story, not that sort of climax!)
Slow and steady ... I know the ending will be more interesting to write, it's just getting there that's slow!
Fewer than I'd hoped for, but a busy day. Still plenty of time to reach my target!
Odd google of the day: what are the parts of a shoe called?
Going reasonably well, but definitely soggy middle! A good edit will sort it out later, I'm sure. Best google of the day: what medical properties does squid ink have?
I've passed the half way mark! It still feels very episodic, though.
Had fun with it today, and am pausing just as somebody is about to read an important and relevant piece of history from a book.
My running total is at 20,004, so I'm catching up! It all feels rather episodic, but I think a lot of cozies are.
A very rainy day here in the UK, a good excuse to batton down the hatches and get in some serious wordage!
Not quite as many words as I'd hoped for, but I will have more time tomorrow - still need to catch up!
Starting to catch up - I now need to hit 2,206 words per day to get the 50K in time. Doable!
Typed up notes and added more words - this is now the right total in the MS (some more notes still to add, but they will be additional words)
