Firmly into the last third of the story now. Time to tie up some loose ends.

Life stuff is making words a challenge this week, but as long as I get some, I know it will be fine in the end.
Words from last night. My internet conked out at bang on midnight. Didn't want to jump through the hoops of trying to use my phone to make this update.
Fewer external distractions today. Estimated the time for the last 500 words. Reviewed what I had written, knew the next sentence, and typed it out. 500 words later, realised I hadn't started my time tracking app.
After last weekend, I said the rest of the month should be pretty quiet. Except I live on a historic site and I forgot about the medieval fair in my backyard this weekend. Committing to no more zero days, no matter what it takes.
Did a thirty minute sprint, then kept going to bring the word count to a thousand.
Not as many as I'd like, but I'm slowly figuring out how the next bit turns out. Also approved a cover today, so lots of admin inbound.
The weekend got me. No big deal. The rest of the month should be quiet.
Tried the same thing as yesterday. Success. Words in before lunch. If I can, I'll do more later to build a buffer for a chaotic weekend.
That's more like it. Not quite a single session as I define it, but I only stopped the timer to make coffee and stretch my legs.
Nowhere enough sleep last night. Happy to have these words, even if they need some serious work.
Finally transitioning from a natural lull back in to the action of this action/adventure. Amazing what a focused environment can do for the word count.
Session 1: 1007 words (33m)
Session 2: 1001 words (37m)
Bank holiday is over. Should be on track for a focused day tomorrow.
