Despite having an outline, I wrote myself into a corner. Undoing my own Meereeneese knot right now, lol. The danger of tangents.

Sat there for fifteen minutes ... wasn't feeling it. Gave myself permission to opt out and read a book instead. Still a win!

A quick sprint, but it was productive. I used a writing prompt to build out the story. It was a fun exercise to add some unexpected perspective to my story.
When feeling low, I enjoy the 'Skeletor is love' memes. In particular, I was thinking of 'Today I lay the building blocks of a better tomorrow' and our skelington friend is crushed under rocks. If you know, you know. This part of November always feels like a grind, but this is leading to something better.
Blah day.
Working through plot angles, character motives, sketching beats, but little narrative growth following tentpole work. Making things easy for future me.
Tentpole work. Sketching out scenes while the muse is present.
Finished zero draft! Resting this project, let it breathe before revisions. Onto the next!
Inspired to finish! A good block today :)
Getting close to finishing the zero draft. Resting the manuscript comes next, then it's onto the next project. Thank you all for this space.
A short but productive sprint. They have become essential to my writing process. Such a good tool.
Short session today, the words aren't flowing well due to pain and drugs from fractured ankle and foot yesterday. Cutting myself some slack. Extend yourself grace if you're not feeling it! Thanks to those who dropped well wishes x
Everything was going fine until I tripped over while cleaning. Hello fractured ankle and foot. Moral of the story - don't procrasticlean!
A group sprint today using a prompt. More fun with friends :)
Just the one sprint. Momentum is everything.
Just a short session, but words are words!
Putting the public holiday to use :)
