I'd hoped to hit 50k this month, but it looks like a 45k month. I'm cool with that!
Second wind. Once upon a time, losing momentum was the equivalent of slamming on the brakes for me. Sprints, doubling, group work, are my fave go-to methods of getting back on the wagon as quickly as possible. Strong outlines is the other! Really looking forward to Adelaide SIA meet up next week. Tx all.
A day where life happened.
Strengthened the outline which made the words easy.
:)
This month has generated some good momentum.
A good day :)
Despite having an outline, I wrote myself into a corner. Undoing my own Meereeneese knot right now, lol. The danger of tangents.
Sat there for fifteen minutes ... wasn't feeling it. Gave myself permission to opt out and read a book instead. Still a win!

A quick sprint, but it was productive. I used a writing prompt to build out the story. It was a fun exercise to add some unexpected perspective to my story.
When feeling low, I enjoy the 'Skeletor is love' memes. In particular, I was thinking of 'Today I lay the building blocks of a better tomorrow' and our skelington friend is crushed under rocks. If you know, you know. This part of November always feels like a grind, but this is leading to something better.
Blah day.
Working through plot angles, character motives, sketching beats, but little narrative growth following tentpole work. Making things easy for future me.
Tentpole work. Sketching out scenes while the muse is present.
Finished zero draft! Resting this project, let it breathe before revisions. Onto the next!
Inspired to finish! A good block today :)
