Just a little one for me today. It has been a solid month

Good run on writing a biopunk one - the shorter snappier chapters are helping I think I write it fast. But I must now go and format a chapter of a book I finished last year but have been dreading formatting (children's book with lots of illustrations). So 1 chapter of formatting - then I can go back to writing if I have a little time before visiting my dad at the aged care home.

Struggling a bit today so going to take a break. Finished a sweet romance novella though

Early morning writing session before the kids wake - finished the chapter with 4 minutes to spare lol

I've got tradies here doing some major plumbing work so hiding in my study. One chapter finished but I've decided to reedit a children's story I abandoned last year and see if I can't get the edit finished....

Insomina is good for writing... if nothing else. 2 more chapters ticked off my outline for a middle grade fantasy with mystery. Taking a break to tackle a formatting for my next release.

One of those chapters was snuck in before the kids got up and one since they went to school. Time to stop and eat lol

Welp I fell asleep last night so instead I woke at 3am ... oh well got another chapter in. Taking a break and maybe I can get started on the next chapter before my kids wake for school.

Been a productive day today. I'm still in middle grade mode so I've picked back up with a fantasy MG to see if I could get through a couple of chapters. This has taken about 4.5 hours to get those words but I am loving the story so I will try and come back later tonight after my kids are home and fed and see if I can squeeze at least one more chapter out. (I see editing all June in my future lol)

I'm 3 days behind in updating my word count so counting it up and popping it all together ... got distracted by writing and formatting a children's paperback interior... :)

Yesterday and today so far...

Just one chapter as I have to get the kids to school. Good to write something new .... and not be editing lol

Yay finished the edit of my middle grade one! Now I can move to the next story properly! But super proud since I had to rework a couple of bits for logic sake but I adore it (still hate editing though lol)

4 chapters left to edit on my middle grade one - wasn't feeling the best this morning and have a ill child as well :( but did better this afternoon when I switched to working on another novel.

Still working on the editing - halfway through the book so taking a break to do some new writing.

Editing.... so only little adds to the word count at the moment

Last two chapters drafted - going to start a read through so that's likely all the new words from me today - but gotta keep moving forward to edit otherwise it ends up on the Editing Pile of Doom. I shall edit it! Though the story turned out twice as long as expected so I need to adjust the time I would typically allocate anyway lol - Happy writing everyone

Was meant to have an early night but on a roll so pushing forward. Only 2 more chapters on my outline now - but it's 5am and I need to sleep... whoops.

Ignore the time as I'm not sure how long I spent - was a no interruption day except for the 6km walk I went on with my daughter halfway after writing two chapters. Hoping to finish this one by the end of the weekend. Getting the other one finished and released has definitely motivated me!

Have switched to a middle grade story I started a while ago (and never finished) 2 more chapters for it written - going to take a break since it's midnight here.
