15-minute sprint using the SIA timer
These ones were a struggle. Writing at night is hard zzzzz
Quick sprint before work, using the YouTube video from this page (I actually ran the 10-minute timer but was on a roll so did another 1/2 video).
Revising an important scene and deleted some notes, so word count was really around 500 but this was the net after removing notes.
Another burst of energy okay now good night!
Doing a short sprint in the morning and short sprint in the evening was much less stressful than trying to get one large sprint at night while tired. New goal is to do a 15-minute sprint twice per day.
Past the halfway point! Crossed 31,000 words total. Expected ~60,000 for this one. Need about 1,000 words per day this month to finish this book strong.
Twas the night before the baby's 1st birthday, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except for the baby who won't go the F to sleep!! Oh well, I got a few words in.
It has been hard to get words at night because I am so exhausted by the time I sit at my computer, and a 1,000-word count goal seems so daunting when tired. Working on getting smaller bits throughout the day instead. Started the morning with a quick sprint to finish out a crucial action scene.
Too tired for a long sprint. zzzzz
All I can get in today is a quick sprint before bed. Day job is kicking my behind these last couple weeks.
A short sprint before bed
Back at it after a couple days out of town.
Had to take a couple days off for real job. Exhausted. Going to try to catch up with smaller sprints over the next few days.
I don't know how to delete this entry!
