Words got doubled up yesterday so I'll just add the sex scene I just wrote for chapter 8. It's funny, but for me I always write "INSERT SEX HERE" and then write all of them at the end of the project's first draft. I feel like the spicy scenes are easier to write when I know the whole story.

β€œLove it! My thrillers are mostly closed door intimate scenes. I sometimes wonder if I could actually write spicy.” – WayneKey
β€œI LOVE that idea. HAHA - My first romance book - that is in beta readers hands right now - started on a dare that I could not write a sex scene. New to drinking and writing sex scenes at 58 years old, I took that dare and the rest is history. Haha” – MelissaCook

Two more chapters. It's amazing what I can do when I restrict my phone access!

β€œMy phone is such a huge distraction... I think I'll try your method! Looks like it's paying off in spades!” – S.H.Blodgett
β€œPhones can be a problem. I almost never allow any notifications on my phone except for family and close friends. Having them able to reach me is a comfort since if they are not reaching out I know they are okay. But everyone has a different context! Nice job on the words!” – WayneKey

More editing

β€œI struggle with that exact thing. I have a fiction and a non fiction back from my editor and I need the hammer new words. Trying to figure out ways to be more efficient! Go for it!” – WayneKey
β€œYep. That's where I've been. Your running total is quite nice.” – MelissaCook
